xmms2 and conky patches

Given that 80% of my music collection is Classical music, it is a must that my music player[1] of choice can support custom tags as:

  • performer
  • composer
  • conductor
  • other (for instance, opus)

    • These two little patches add support for the following custom tags on xmms2 and conky:

  • performer
  • conductor
  • composer
  • opus
  • part

    • Please note that I'm not a developer (I don't have any programming background, just do some basic shell / perl / awk scripting), so use it at your own risk:

    It Just Works For Me(TM). They shouldn't cause any harm, as they're really simply, but use at your own risk

    I plan to maintain them until they're available (more elegantly) on xmms2. They were made against latest releases (xmms2 0.5 DrLecter && conky 1.6.1).

    [1] Of course it could have been Quod Libet, which has excellent support for custom tags...
